Fred Moyer, Founder
Red Hot Penguin was founded in 2003 by Fred Moyer with the mission of providing open source software solutions as a competitive alternative to proprietary software.
Mr. Moyer has ten years of experience with Apache, mod_perl, and PostgreSQL technologies. He served as CTO of Digital Campaigns, where he headed development for the ePhone, Broadcast, and eWalk applications. Fred is an author and contributor to many CPAN modules and is a member of the Apache Software Foundation in the mod_perl project. Additionally Mr. Moyer holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada Reno, and a double Mechanical Engineering / Materials Science Bachelors degree from University of California, Davis

An experienced software engineer, Fred is an author of several open source programs and maintainer of several more.
Jeff has worked for nearly 20 years as a strategist and manager for technology-driven products and campaigns.
